Pink Blush Aloe - Aloe sp. Pink Blush
Sun/Light Requirements
It does not like direct sunlight because the heat will cook it's little petals and cause it to whither. It will do well with bright indirect sunlight for 6+ hours every day. I believe it does better potted in a hanging planter or off the side as a spilling plant. Once established it can withstand longer periods of time. Immediately placing your plants in bright hot sun will kill them. This goes for all plants.
Water Requirements
Do not water if the soil is wet or moist, only when completely dry. Most Desert Plants will want water within 2 weeks of them being watered. Try not to leave your succulents soil dry for over a week. You can water your plants more often if you have loose rocky soil that drains easily. Succulents and Cactiare drought tolerant when established. Drought tolerant when established means this plant will require watering every few weeks to develop proper root structure. Once it is fully developed or tripled in size it can withstand long periods of time without water.Drought tolerant plants are just tolerant of no water, they will do better when watered accordingly.
Soil Requirements
When purchasing a plant always consider they will be happier if you mimic their natural habitat. Please plant your succulent in rocky loose soil that drains easily. Most of your big box store brand soils are not rocky enough and will require you adding pumice or lava rock to help separate the soil. The rockier the soil, the more often you can water your succulent which helps them grow big.
